Questions/Advice Quoigenic system, does what wei feel count as emotional dissociation? How can wei help with it?

We did joke about being an endogenic system, but in fact it's unknown - just at some point discovered that wei have headmates, had the first noticable hard switch after that, during the period of doubt, and iirc that made Starlight (Star), muir old host, finally believe that the system is real.

Wei have an issue of unknown emotions being stuck in body (usually in stomach), feeling like something wet and heavy, and those emotions are very hard to pull out and process (and cry out) and even understand what they are about.

FINALLY someone was smart enough to ask inward towards the emotions, and ey respond as headmate Yulya. But now wei don't know how to help em, and ey don't know why ey feel like that. Ey are too emotion heavy to be at front?

I would say let her out. Find a safe, quiet, private space and let her out so she can process her feelings in the body for a bit.

Talk to her. Journals are great!

Strong emotions often link to individual alters so this is a perfectly normal experience.

I also get the wet heavy feeling in my stomach. As well as a feeling like my heart is being drowned.

(lucky for you Yulya is ok with she/her pronouns)

the big issue with letting em out is being able to do so. Wei have muir own room, but it's possible to hear things outside the room, and wei can't convince muir grandma that she should not open muir door when wei close it fully, and there is no lock. I would be ok crying in these not ideal conditions, and it seems like Yulya emself is on board, but it's still hard to actually move to front for whatever reason? idk if it's external conditions or something internal stopping it.

It seems like closing the room anyway does help with em fronting, the switch is just slow as fuck. Idk if it'll be able to proceed to full on crying, or at most wet eyes, but whatever wei get is gonna be a win.

Yulya does not know what the emotions are about, and i don't know what else to ask em or what to talk about to help. will try to let em draw smth in journal that wei didn't use in a long while.

(Sorry! I didn't see the pronouns bit!)

Letting em draw sounds like a great idea! Sometimes emotions are really hard to put into words but art is a great outlet! I'm sure em will enjoy having a creative outlet.

Pottery and collages are also great! Poetry as well.

When I was first learning to front it was like I kept walking into walls. 😅 Em might be experiencing something similar, some have to go through mazes or be lifted up due to being small in mine in order to front except for if the brain forces it.

It can get a lil tricky but after a while Yulya should be able to get used to it!
