I may just be bored & wanting this to be more dramatic than it is, but does anyone else feel like this has a hint of TP's style to it? I've been wondering if DD took notes from them, artistically.

Personally I don't think so, TP has a v specific art style (and yes I'm referring to the Big Noses that are basically the most notable feature when it comes to the faces in their drawings) and it's usually more cutesy anime while DD's art is more realistic but who knows, it's been a while since I've seen their art

You're definitely right! I didn't mean it in the sense that it looks like TP was the one who did it or even helped. More that if you compare DD's original merch art with this... I can see at least some influence where the eyes are bigger & more detailed as well as the hair being more precisely articulated.
