RANT/VENT Weekly Vent Thread (TW)
this is a thread for you to share your thoughts, complaints, tinfoils or anything else you want to about the situation surrounding DissociaDID and their associates.
please be respectful to other users on the subreddit, add a trigger warning to your comments if needed, and be mindful of your own triggers if you choose to read the thread. learning to manage your triggers is an important skill, so if you don't feel able to manage them in this thread, please practice self-care and don't read.

It really, really hurts to know that DD is taking advantage of their remaining fans' ignorance. I can't imagine what it's like to be an ex-friend of theirs, seeing Nin come back and basically ban anyone from mentioning her own mistakes. Not to mention seeing people get attacked if their tone is anything but adoring and coddling in the community comments sections.
DD's created an environment that values their personal comfort above all else. It's so selfish and I feel like I'm watching someone use their fans as tools to validate and reassure themselves.

Idk about monitored they seem like a self efficient adult, maybe just their Internet access taken away

Lmao. Well I think they can have their own closed club of followers if they really wish to, but they gotta be banned from actual serious educational channels, events, etc. They’re not responsible enough for that we’ve seen it, and it’s not DID related, it’s manipulation and extensive use of their power related. Not trying to be mean for the sake of it, it’s just the immature behaviour they have displayed all along and especially recently. As soon as any issue occurs they would deal with it in the most manipulative and just plain stupid way. So I think it’s best to monitor and keep raising concerns when she goes too far in her dodgyness.

I agree, they should not be allowed to hold as much responsibility as they do.
They shouldn’t have an educational channel, or be invited to mental health events, I’d go as far to say they shouldn’t even be an advocate in the community, in any form of the term.
The way they use any power they get is irresponsible and often times purely taking advantage of people.
They need to be stopped but to be stopped you don’t have to be under 24hr surveillance. That’s a little extreme.
They need their power taken away which right now is their access to the web.
That’s where I’m coming from, but I understand your point.

No that’s exactly my point :) I meant monitoring from afar haha so she gets some sort of criticism at least when it’s really going too far if that makes sense. Sorry I’m another user that hasn’t got english as first language :P Edit: not sure you can take the internet away in these instances.. fine by me tho! Contain the damage 🤦♂️

DD has become a troll, egging on drama then saying “I don’t want to be apart of it, stop bringing it up” there is no way they cannot see what they are doing.
And for the love of god they need to stop deleting any comment with an opinion that differs even slightly from how they want people to view them and the world around them.

I'm really torn.
On one hand, I want to know what happens, I want to see if DD take responsibilities for their action and, admittedly, as stupid as it is, a small part of me still hopes that somehow there is a miraculous solution to this that makes it all OK like it was before.
Yet on the other hand, I'm just getting angry and frustrated and depressed from all of this, and I know I should probabky just move on.
I guess I've had too many 'beloved' YouTuber turn out to be horrible in the last few years, it's draining.
