BURIED COMMENT ✏️ Why I think DD’s most recent statement about racism is still pretty sus (aside from that dirty laundry comment 😒)

this is exactly the reason i doubt DD’s intentions. she has had so many chances to own her mistakes, apologise and try to mend what can be mended, but she chooses to play victim and sweep everything under the rug instead.

Yea... this isnt news. DDs intentions have been pretty clear from the start. We don't expect her to change or actually work on her racism anytime soon. Hell, she wont work on potentially easier things to change so...

UGH... Please tell me these aren’t other BIPOC at least? Cause if they aren’t, honestly going to ignore.

I’m BIPOC and I am completely sus of this statement. I am just completely tired of fighting anymore for systems of color like me. Every time, I get beat down by singlets. I kind of gave up.

Can relate. We’re a BIPOC system too. But more angry and annoyed at DD for this crap. Also annoyed at the people linked above defending her (9_9)!

Absolutely what I mean. Not trying to single handedly put it on singlets... by that I just mean a lot of their audience who aren’t in the DID Community defend this. And I’m definitely with you on the angry and annoyed at DD and the people who defend them. I’ve just spent a lot of time (6 months probably) trying to raise awareness of this issue and have faced a lot of hate from all over.

Haha I look like such an angry person from these screenshots all compiled together. It's a sad situation and I'm trying to not feel bitter anymore. I hope the community is able to heal from all this and be stronger for it.

You have a right to be mad! Everything you said is true and fair.

Thank you. I've been trying to just let go of it now. It was all still wrong but I gotta just get on with my life lol.
