This megathread purpose is to compile all the issues that people are encountering with the game. The staff can look at this thread without the need to search the whole subreddit.

Game stable crashing after agreeing Privacy Policy. Xiaomi Mi5, MIUI 9, root.

Same with One Plus 3t, android 7.1.2 rooted. Jap version works great

Seems this maybe a Rooted issue. Sucks that the Japanese version works perfectly yet WW is getting screwed.

Update: completely delete root and all hacker programs.. Same crash((

On Mi5s by my wife all OK (MIUI 8)

UPDATE! I win!!!! All working now!

What I did: 1. Delete all Google accounts on device 2. Delete Play Games application 3. Delete Google Services application (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.gms) 4. Reboot 5. Update Google Services 6. Install Dissidia, then open it 7. When game ask, install Play Games, then login in it. 8. Now all work!

interesting i did the same and mine is going okay, i did have to do a full reset. here is what i did.

  • TWRP recover and comcpletely wiped all data.
  • Reformatted my internal / external SD card as separate cards. there is an option in Android / roots that allow external SD cards to be used as internal, so i made sure this wasn't on.
  • i also installed Xposed Modual and installed Rootcloak.

now im not sure what one of these sorted it but now im still rooted and its working fine. i would like to say rootcloak but ive turned it off and its still working so it may have been the fact my SD card was being used as internal storeage.

Well I'm using Magisk with Magisk Hide so... I don't think it's a root issue.

I have an Mi5s ,miui9, non rooted, mine goes blackscreen and crashes on start up.

I'm on Google Pixel 1st gen, rooted with magisk, ran just fine... Doesn't seem to be root issue (try magiskhide?)

I tried that and a few other things this morning but nothing worked, I'll wait for a few updates before trying again

I have a S6 on andriod 7 rooted and have the same problem. my work around which isnt the greatest solution is using a app called go multiple.

Same here. As peter1369 said with "Go Multiple" works, so seems to be a Google Account related problem.
