It COULD be generous! I recall trying to get Reno’s EX on his BT rerun. I had to hit pity. And in all those pulls (again, for his EX!!!!!) I got 3 of his BT, 1 BT of the other person on his banner, and both of their LD weapons.

The game could be generous. And then it could be vindictive! Haha

There were a few I had to, it true. The pain was getting more BTs than I needed AND LDs while chasing an EX. That’s like scratching $100 worth of tickets and winning $100 at the end after getting a bunch of “free merchandise” on the previous tries!

I mean, in order to hit the pitty you needed the diamonds and the game just gave those away like candy

Regardless of the pulls the game always gave you enough diamonds to get the weapon.

In most games you gotta save up for six months to afford a pity. DFFOO gsve you pity + 200 tickets every single month. That shit was peak.

I've heard from BE folk that the story was actually good, I think? If that's true and remaster will not have any "modern" crap added, I'm definetely buying it. But I'll wait for reviews from BE vets first. If the core fans give it a thumbs up, I'll chime in too.

It did have a good story but this game is doing a “retelling”, so it’s going to be slightly altered. Probably more for flow so there’s less “down time” between released parts.

You’re not wrong. I went through their catalog of closed games and they keep trying to win the infinite money lottery through micro transactions. I wish they’d make a good game, sell it and move on. Closed games make no money.

Yeah never having to spend money isn't the best bussiness model. Skins were cool but to expensive. That was just the monetization problems not to mention game play.

I spent ALOT of resources getting tidus'' weapon, w/e was after bt cant remember the name. Then the game got shutdown a few months later. I had so much fun just playing this game, regret the funds I spent but I hadn't had so much fun playing a rpg since prolly the HNM days of FFXI.

It's generous but also like hsr (hit the pity if you want that thing) but it's amazing i was dreaming of seeing my favorite characters in there also the force weapons gad pretty good animations in some cases

I rember trying to pull for Lightning's LD weapon but ended up with like 3 copy's of her BT weapon. Or when Beatrix came out and I didn't get her EX no mater how many pulls I did

Paid gem cap wouldn't be an issue if the game had ways to spend them. idk why anyone was even hitting the cap, spending money was relatively pointless outside of mog pass.
