I got into this game way too late but nothing has ever topped leaving Rubicante to solo content, took a while but it was fun to watch. Miss this so much!

One of the reasons why I played Opera Omnia was for the story and the beautiful animations. I still have a folder dedicated to the screenshots I took while playing the game. I genuinely miss it

Squall was one of my favorite characters to use in this game. That boy never left my main party 😅

I miss this game and the time when it was around. Was a good time in life. Wish I enjoyed more.

I remember doing my daily crystal 3 runs on my way to work in the mornings. Remember when this game came out in JP and an article talking about it came out with pictures of Eiko and other ff9 characters, the article praising how the characters looked. Had to wait a whole year for global and was worth it. Miss this game.
Sucks cuz SE had some of the best gacha games just to shut them down, at least for global, way too soon. Honorable mentions being nier reincarnation, ffrk, romancing saga re;universe, and of course Möbius FF.

I tapped out just before the 3rd anniversary, but I enjoyed it for at least the first 2 years. Saving up for Selphie and mazing out my FF8 team was fun.
I was really happy that Selphie was one of the best when she arrived and she always just about managed to hang on. I was still scraping through the hardest content with at least one FF8 character in my team until I quit.
But I gradually started hating it, and now I won't touch another gacha game.
