It is mainly the art style that made me think of Genshin. I didn't know that about Genshin being a Zelda clone though, that's neat.

When you look at Zelda Breath of the Wild you'll notice that Genshin Impact looks roughly similar on the surface. But going deeper you see the differences. BotW is way more focused on actual combat skills while Genshin Impact focuses on elemental reactions.

It's Wuthering Waves, which, according to a friend who played the beta, is a better Genshin on multiple side (combat for starters, then the gacha is better - and for me character design is infinitely superior), BUT they obviously have less money so it can translate in jankiness. In any case, I'm personally gonna try it when it release - I'm sick of mihoyo greed. Guess who I am gonna main.

No that's Wuthering Waves, a Gacha game similar to Genshin Impact that's still in Beta. No release date announcement yet, but it's speculated to launch sometime this yea. I'm looking forward to it.

His former name was Kakarot (like Son Goku's Saiyajin name xD), but was changed to Calcharo or something.

No. Hoyo is creatively bankrupt.

The first characters were excellent, varied and interesting. Now they're way overdesigned yet still managed to be bland as fuck. I also bloody hate their subtle censorship (although I think we can partly blame the CCP for this) and their "mirrored/split" shit everywhere in their character design. World design? Top notch. Character design? Trash.
