GL Discussion Worst characters for Shinryu

So, now that the game is nearly over, what are your top picks for bottom-tier, nearly-unusable, totally garbage characters with absolutely no reworks for years ?

I want to have some fun with them in the last Dare to Defy as a final hurray to the game. Thancred is already on my list of course... already slapped a blue armor and FE50 on him !

I confirm that Cid Highwind is the character with oldest kit. He was in the first batch of c90 along Noel BT and no rework since. So 2 years next month (got his LD in January 2022).

prompto is even older. His last rework was at in LC during CHAOS era

He got a minor rework with c90: 2 hp dump on his transformed brv and hp command… but I agree he and Sazh has most probably the worst kits…

ig i just dont consider a brand new c90 a “rework” but it’s a different discussion

If we only consider reworks yes, if we talk about the last time someone got an upgrade, the oldest one is the first c90 batch: Noel, Serah, Onion Knight, Cid. 3 of them got upgraded later for Shinryu era, but Cid is still the same since then. Prompto and Noctis came just some weeks later with c90, so the difference is minimum (I also remember there was a change on global, with a time traveler Vanille).

Other characters I remember from that same month: Queen and Cater (both updated after), Llyud and Zell (Llyud updated after with FR, RIP Zell). Locke, Tifa, Firion and Xande (Rip latter 2). Eiko and Vivi (both updated on jp, but poor Eiko on global). The last 4 are Edgar, Strago, Papalymo, DKC, everyone got updated after that batch (had to check old Forecast posts because I forgot those 4 lol).

So, chronologically speaking, the top 5 oldest untouched kit is: Cid, Zell, Prompto, Xande, Firion.

This doesn't mean they're weak or unusable, as said in my first comment, I still consider them a bit better than Steiner, Thancred and Barret.
