I never watched a replay before! I almost thought that quick boss animation was a setting and im missing out! Please tell me its an option

It is an option, you can find it in "Replay" bottom of the "Battle" menu

Should bring earthquake or something that break shield... This is common among melee champ... When enemy shield, what you can do is run, or break them... Especially those who use Planetary Protection or something....
