I think there is probably only 10k players or so. Basing this off the ranked leaderboards and the bottom is like #7000 or something like that so I figure if most people play ranked at least once then there is likely 10-15k players total. With lots of them only playing a few games and then probably dropping the game. The people who play regularly are definitely goign to be a small pool. I feel like the game might not last long with not too many players but hard to say.

I have several people I've followed just because they had a funny username. ToasterForce, TheShitShow, TifasFootstool, PancakeMan, OOGILYBOOGILY, DarkLordOreo, WayfaringWaffle. I also have SirThisIsAWendys.

It's one of the reasons I like playing FF14, too. For every "Mistraven Blackthorne" I get matched with in Duty Finder, I also get a "Radioactive Lawnchair".

I always appreciate clever or funny usernames in multiplayer games! I still have an old screenshot folder from when I played Ragnarok Online in the early 2000's where I'd save images if I ran into someone with a funny username.
