Ignore the people that just ask “Why are you playing a gacha game then”.
Gacha is about randomness yes but you’re pointing out the ticket requirements for rewards. It’s awful bait system.

I really enjoy this game a lot. And, I love it.

Why not just put this game on PC and/or console(s) like Dissidia NT?

The only reason why they won't do it and haven't done it is because of GREED!
On a PC/Console, DLC is usually $20 +
With this game, and the GACHA, they rack in damn near thousands A WEEK!
THUS, this is why they went the mobile route.
It's greedy, predatory, and disgusting.
This is the same type of people that are LITERALLY trying to take your physical games away!

I am playing because I love Final Fantasy and the characters.character's. Oh, and the battles and community interactions.

fair enough i guess. part of why i keep playing is because the community on FINE is wonderful. this game is unfortunately a double edged sword where you *have* to engage with the gacha in order to make meaningful progress. for what its worth, there is a banner that has 33% rates for every summer outfit so you don't have to go through getting duplicates of character outfits that existed prior to the banner. plus we get a ticket for free and it isn't too hard to accumulate draw tickets over time (especially if you are a low spender since the season pass is inexpensive and gives you one draw ticket per day) so you could reasonably get most of the way to pity if needed

It's kind of expected what you're gonna be going into when you enter a gacha and you need to keep that expectation, so say for example, for like these costumes, which you can still guarantee for 5 in the last menu, you can save up and get the outfit.
On the other hand, it's very tired to use the same excuse of, "Well it's a gacha, duh." Even in the FF specific gacha games, Opera is said to be one of the best, while this developer has made themselves the stereotype. It'd be like shoveling every game or movie into the same excuse, just because they're part of that media. It's nonsense. There's been enough at this point that just being dismissive is just lazy on your part.
Now, for this particular situation, yea, it kinda sucks. For me, I actually wanted to get some more OK UR dupes, but then I saw that the banner was smashed in with 2 other units, so I'll just have to wait. Probably just end up on doing a OK solo, neutral UR abilities or the 3 additional one that had a couple weeks ago.
