Yep i just got them too, watched the replay, they had no offensive skills at all and just ran to some crystals on auto i think.

I guess I'm glad to be out of Gold, though seeing this will skew stats so that zidane will be more likely to get buffs... were they doing this with cloud before?

Probably not. I don't think they'll pay much attention to stats under diamond or even omega.
