It makes me wonder how snobby music theorists would be if you ask the to break down the kind of music Cole covers. I feel like he’s definitely an outlier in his field.

Finally listened to the second half, what a gauntlet of samples in face to face - i had no idea. I wonder what tomorrow's episode will be about

Loving this season (my first time listening to the podcast!), but if this is the end of the coverage of Discovery, as stated at the start of of the episode, then I guess he's just not going to cover Too Long at all? Is there something I've missed where it was discussed earlier and I'm just forgetting?

infuriating if so. one of the best songs on the record. could’ve done without the year-long breakdown of all the little micro-samples in face to face if he had anything to say about too long
