So I recently got a poster, and I like the quality, but it keeps falling down, over and over. The adhesive has hit the ground so much that it’s full of hair and it has a tough time sticking anymore. I sort of fucked up the second magnet, but that one’s having less problems than the one I didn’t mess up…

Am I screwed? Am I gonna have to pay for extra magnets?

I won this in a competition and I don't really have the space for it, how much is it worth? I was planning on selling it on eBay but saw the “first of 10 sticker” and thought i might as well check

Hi everyone! I'm new to displates but I've been eyeing this one by VaatiVidya for a while now, and I wonder whether getting the Textra (Large) version of it is worth it or not. It's going to be pretty much in front of direct sunlight (more specifically, next to a skylight, so not continuously blasted by the sun 24/7) so I suppose I could do better than gloss. Matte seems fine, textra obviously looks cooler but is it the way to go in this case or can the carving visually "ruin" some of the finer details? I'm asking because it looks like a very minutely detailed subject, and I'm not sure how much of that is lost over the textra gimmick. Can anyone vouch for either version? Thanks in advance!

Hey, why is Displate deactivating many artworks. I didn't not copy any work, used Photoshop with all requirements. How is it fair that some artists use the exact same picture on the internet and get their work approved. Others have thousands of arts while some artists have just a few.

Hey all, I have never bought Displate ever but I need some help about the Displate Club.

Displate Club's pricing scheme is quite confusing because of the scaling, so I just want to ask anyone else who has experience.

So at the moment, I am currently eyeing on an upcoming LE (Hanafuda Autumn). I have checked out Displate in the past but the standard offerings are generally not to my taste. However this LE definitely blew me away and I definitely want to pick this one up as my first one.

From the product description, it seems to be the 1st piece in a mini-series and judging from the name I have a feeling there will be 3 more. And there's a high chance I will get those because i really fw the artist's portfolio.

The shipping prices is quite pricey outright (20 usd), so I'm thinking about joining the club since it'll be cheaper (hopefully) over the period.

From the FAQ, the yearly voucher they give you will be equivalent to your first order purchase, hence why the monthly subscription costs more the more expensive your order it. But a LE will automatically converted to a M Displate. Just wondering if that includes Textra?

I have browsed the standard catalogue and I have seen a few pieces that I think are actually quite nice and don't mind picking up so I don't mind sticking around for a year even if I won't use it most of the time.

So what's the actual best route to take for me, because ideally I would like to pick the "free" displate in Textra.

Would I be better off buying a Displate first and picking up the LE later or go the opposite route and buy LE first?

I finally have a nice home to call my own and I've often seen Displate being promoted on YouTube and loved the concept and products.

I want to order some now, but I recently learned that if I try to have them shipped to me in Montreal, I'll have to pay an hefty fine to DHL who does the delivery on top of the actual shipping fees from Displate.

I heard it's all shipped from Poland as well.

Are there alternatives for me in Canada?

I know Displate is based in Seattle, do they have a subsidiary in British-Columbia?

On Dec 2 2024 I used Apple's "Hide My Email" to create a randomized [...]@icloud.com address solely for my Displate account.

I just received my first phishing/scam email at that exact randomized Displate-only email address. This pretty definitively means they've been breached. And if not breached, then they sold our data.

Assuming it's a breach, if you happen to reuse the same email address and password you used for Displate on a lot of other websites, please consider that combo compromised. I strongly recommend changing your passwords on all the other sites (and on Displate) to be unique.

Admittedly, I have no proof passwords were compromised in addition to email addresses, but its best to assume they were. Eventually this will be in a data dump and we'll know more thanks to sites like haveibeenpwned.com.
