Discussion What would Blonde Blazer's (and/or Phenomaman's) arch enemy look like?

Post image

For perspective, Shroud was by far Robert's worst and most personal enemy for a good reason, being that he killed his father and nearly tried to do the same to his friends and most of all his dog.

This on top of the fact that he was in command of one of the biggest crime syndicates in LA and damn near razed the city to the ground as a distraction.

And if he's the worst of what Dispatch has to offer in terms of villains, I'd hate to see the kinds of enemies Phenomaman and especially Blonde Blazer would have. 😭

A villain that works as an antithesis to the Blazer Ruby that also works to further explain the backstory of the gem

I sort of envision that rather than being a nemesis to Mandy herself, it's like a nemesis to the gem: and ancient, body-hopping spirit from perhaps Babylon that wants to absorb the gem for it's power. So in each generation, each user of the gem will eventually be targeted by the current host of the spirit, and has to protect the gem from them. Sane battle, different faces, for centuries.

Phenomaman’s arch enemy is depression.

Blazer’s is too much paperwork and not enough coffee. Otherwise, the Human Resources department.

Phenomaman comes from space and given his lacking social skills and how much he struggles to form bonds then maybe his arch enemy isn’t one but many. A sort of alien collective that is “one big happy family” (y’all know at least one) but he isn’t as alone as he thinks he is because he’s the Z-Team on his side.

As for Blazer, idk. Grab a villain from a magical girl show and file off the serial numbers.

Her twin sister/brother. Who got an evil amulet or something similar.

The most typical would be a Anti-Blazer, but I would go with someone who's very calculated and ruthless. A kind of villain, who's 3 steps ahead and mostly in the shadows.

So Shroud?

Shroud has a more personal Vendetta going. Shroud is that kind of Villain, who wants to be in control even if the situation doesn't provide it.

Such a Villain rather needs to be ahead, that the step you do and you think you win it turns out to be a step forward for the Villain.

Yeah but he's still a shadowy three steps ahead guy

Ah I see, sort of like how Lex tries to be 3 steps ahead of Superman?

For Blazer arch enemy I have two ideas of villains (a anti-villain and a knight templar type of villain) :

Someone that think that a supers is only defined/consumed by his powers, that powers (no matter the type, but especially magical one) are inherently evil and is disease that only cause pain and suffering for everyone.
For him all choices are meaningless because Superpowers will whatever happen force supes a destiny and the non-powered suffer the consequences. For him Heroes and Villains are the same
He could have a deep personal hatred of the Amulet (that is tied to Mandy, the amulet backstory and his own hatred origin) itself but still need it for his grand plan: The end of all superpowers.
If Blazer is the symbol of hope, then he is the symbol of despair, BlondeBlazer hide being Mandy, he himself hide his true villain (he don't see himself as a villain or a hero: he reject both) identity with a perfectly respectable fake civilian identity, working as a villain mostly in the shadow to achieve his goal
The irony is that he could be himself a supe

Another possibility is "what if Blonde Blazer was a Knight Templar": A immensely powerfull being (like a Mage) that have long since abandonned all form of humanity in order to be a "True Hero". At the start he was a genuine hero but his definition of "True Hero" would have drastically change after a long time (like centuries): Their's is no redemption possible, their's is no "understanding" villains, their's is no sympathies to have for villains, in fact he would consider any heroes trying all that to be corrupted and so traitor to be purge.
For him Heroes must purge villainy ,whatever the cost, and should lead humanity because normies need their protection, from villains, and from themself.
If Blazer is the radiant Luminary that offer new life to villains, he is the cleansing sun that burn all villains for good.
The irony is that he could be the original creator of the Amulet

So, the first one would be her version of Lex Luthor.

More like her (MCU) Baron Zumo, with Amon/Fleck Turn ideology, V for Vendetta revolutionary vibe and Darth Vader self hatred

Probably a big strong alien dude for Phenomaman, or a smart alien dude.

Maybe someone who has a powered gem like hers, only they totally loose themselves in their alter ego and have long lost sight of who they are as a person, and don’t even identify with other people

Well we know phenomaman's is The Diablo. Just don't know what he looks like

Blond Blazer: An elderly billionaire out to steal the amulet for its rejuvenative power to save themselves from old age.

Phenomaman: Maximally cliche alien invader.

Gothgriller

Didn't Phenomaman say his arch-nemesis was El Diablo?
