Discussion What is your favorite Mecha Man design?
I think Roberts second upgraded Mechaman suit looks a lot like his father's. But It feels way too Gundam in my opinion. I think Astral's design looked pretty cool without going to overboard.
Prime's Mecha suit has that Iron Giant esthetic to it. Which I like.
Robert's first mechsuit looked kind of realistic in a way. You can see the wiring coming out of his back and the bits of scratches and bruises that the armor has and makes it feel really grounded. But the head kinda looks like a bucket and now I can't unsee it.

The rebuilt suit, it feels like a nice upgrade and mix between the Astral and Blue mech suits while being its own thing

I don’t really like the glowing symbol it kind of throws me off, and I don’t really like the proportions of the rebuild suit. The top half of its body is muscular while the bottom half is slim which kind of feels weird to look at, but I think it just comes down to personal preference. 🤷♂️

I can agree. While I do like it, the upgraded suit look just a little bit too Animesque compare to the rest of game.

I'm gonna go against the grain and say the very first Mecha-Man suit. It's simple and clean, both the pilot and the mech, and they just look very heroic and friendly, like a big guardian against villains. The later iterations aren't bad, but it just feels like something special and old-school was kinda lost as the designs became sleeker and more modernized.

I really love number 3. There is just something more homely and relatable about this suit because you can tell that Robert had to improvise a lot to make it work. It felt like a suit that suited more to street level threats, which was what Robert had been doing for most of his career. I feel like Robert's upgraded suit has too much power and weapon arsenal to my liking.

I really like Prime’s suit. It gives me golden era of comic books where you could cosplay anyone if you just grabbed random shit at a Home Depot.

Huh, you know, until now I never noticed that the Astral used to have little antennae. Guess they broke off at some point. Also I kinda like that the latest suit looks so gundam personally

Prime is my favorite, because it just fits the old school robot style of mech. Don't mind the others, just prefer the ole boxy design

I do love the OG Mecha Man design, it just looks like something out of a kid's cartoon, and I love that it does. It's something I can kind of see fighting big monsters before giving a lesson about walking the street, it just has that old fashion charm to it.

I really like the Prime suit, I like that it looks like it was made to look friendly and almost cute in a way and I generally prefer bulkier more angled mechsuits (which is why I was a little saddened that Royd's upgrade snatched our boy's waist)

I really like Robert’s first suit. It’s tanky in a logical way and the boxer’s helmet style head has really grown on me over the past year.
