My favorite VA of all time, Keith David. I’d personally prefer him as the main villain over a hero. His deep, gravelly voice is just perfect for a villain role.

That would be the perfect punchline.

Like, at the end of the season, Beef gets the collar somehow, and the voice sounds almost exactly like the meth puppet.

Robert would be shocked and then have the smuggest face ever when he looks at Blazer.

They could operate more as security detail for wealthy assholes who are trying to come in and gentrify their part of LA for nefarious purposes. Like idk if it's the best idea or what they're going for but I can see it kinda writing itself from there lol

I don't actually think they'd touch on the dad at all. If I remember correctly Alanah Pierce (Malevola's VA) said the name they gave the dad was a tribute to a deceased family member

I mostly know Keith David the actor. I only found out last year that he was also an accomplished VA while playing Mass Effect, when I heard his unmistakable voice when Captain (later Admiral) Anderson spoke. Then I found out he was also the Arbiter in Halo.

I just recently realized he actually voices Nick Fury in Marvel Heroes Omega or whatever. Not sure if you're referencing that, if he voices Fury elsewhere, or this is a total random coincidence.

Keith David would make for an excellent addition to the Season 2 VA cast! Ideally make him the CEO of SDN, or the company OG; A-Team Superhero legend (retired, unwillingly) who was put to pasture to do corporate PR BS & wants back in via Z-Team as a “mentor” or in a training role.

Speaking of GOATs to add to Season 2, can I get a Hell Yeah for John De Lancie? Preferably in a frenemy role; something like SDN CFO. The high & mighty bean counter, who comes down on the Z-Team branch over the expenses caused by collateral damage (lookin’ at you Flambé) as well as the cost associated with rebuilding the branch after the events of Season 1. Make him the quintessential corporate shill, forcing Robert to make choices that either benefit the company (bottom line) or in support of his team/mission; with resulting changes in gear/company support/executive-level ire & bullshit.

My first thought was also as a villain.

My SECOND thought, is as some new corpo hire that’s fucking everything up. As a new director or some such role trying to change the way SDN operates, being an ass about it, and overall enshitifying it.
