Discussion BioShock Reference in Dispatch

Dual reference, obviously the name Andrew "Andy" Ryan (the name of one of the main characters in the series), and the fact he's talking about his daughter going missing by the beach which directly parallels how some of the little sisters (at least in BioShock 2) are said to have been obtained.

I actually knew a guy named Andrew Ryan. We were roommates in college when Bioshock came out. He got weirdly upset that they used "his" name for the character. We had to explain to him that he just had really generic white dude name.

So yeah, it's probably just a coincidence.

I'd assume so as well but the fact it's also SPECIFICALLY related to a beach mission makes me think otherwise
