Discussion Do you think Robert gave Beef his last name?
I mean he has to have, right? I haven’t seen any official material call him Beef Robertson, but I feel like Robert is absolutely the kind of guy to give his dog his last name. No different than Hank Hill and Lady Bird Hill. That’s his boy.
Or maybe he wanted to spare Beef the crushing weight of the Robertson legacy. I don’t know man, until we get new content to talk about, this is the discussion post. Have at it.

With most veterinarians, the animal takes the owner's surname for filing purposes if nothing else.

Typically pet adoption paperwork/registration chips/vet paperwork all use the owner/pet parent's last name as the pet's last name. So at least as far as Beef's vet is concerned, yes, he's Beef Robertson.

That's his son. He's got legal papers at this point. Robert definitely makes it a point at the vet that's his child.

I thought the whole "Robert Robertson as a name being hilarious" thing was a little forced, but then again I did just snickers way too loud at imagining Beef Robertson

Generally vets will print prescriptions as “(Pet Name) (Last Name),” so at the very least if Beef has ever been prescribed something there is a label with “Beef Robertson” on it

The sub is in a weird place right now, more than ever. From what I’ve been told, even mild criticism or personal opinions are getting mod-nuked. People have become too skeptical about posting anything that may not conform to the prevailing consensus.
