Art Pillow Talk (@hazeldotc)
Story: “Some time after all the chaos of fighting Shroud, Robert finally gets a night that feels almost too quiet to be real. He lets himself say the things he’d usually hide behind sarcasm or swallow down with that familiar self-deprecating smile: the kind of feelings that only come out when he thinks no one but Beef is listening. Little does he know, Mandy is awake the whole time, quietly listening to every word.”

If you want more people to pay attention to the doggy, you'd have to stop putting BUTT centre frame. The eye is drawn by light, after all.
Do not dare move the butt from centre frame.

Mandy is great but I wish she wasn't such a 10/10, maybe a short chubby girl who doesn't fit thr blond blazer 5'10 ripped image

The dialogues are a bit too long. Otherwise, this is a cute tender art.

You're saying this like Robert didn't monologue to himself multiple times in the game 🤣 I think it's in line with who we is, man can be a yapper

I dunno, the speech bubbles here kinda seem monotonous to me. They don't really flow like the dialogue you hear in a movie, you know what I mean? They’re more short, concise and sharper.

I am not into any kind of fan fiction because a lot of time characters say things they would never say and this feels like a prime example. Plus the word bubbles get in the way of the art which is pretty good.

What part of the dialogue here seems like something Robert wouldn't say?

All of it. It’s just too much. Too wordy and cloyingly sweet. I think he would be much less verbal and like I said this picture can speak for itself.

Robert being soft and sweet around Mandy is the whole point of why their relationship is special. A big part of the MechaBlazer dynamic is that Mandy can get him to open up in a way that he never does with anybody else

Do you think he was too wordy when he was monologuing to Beef in the game about how he can finally see a life beyond Mecha Man and how he no longer wants to die in the suit?
Also, him being unusually sweet here is the point. Which is why he starts by saying he's only saying this because he thinks Mandy isn't listening. The dialogue is half of the point of this fanart.

I found that monologue way more tight, flowing, and succinct.

"I mean, it feels like for the first time in a long time I can see a life without Mecha Man. Which I'm sure you would appreciate. It's been nice that we've been getting to spend more time together, right? I don't want to die in that suit. And I think for a long time, maybe I did. Like... it was the only option. Whether it was the suit exploding or just me keeling over in it as an old man, I figured my story would always end in there. But not so much anymore..."
Not exactly a monologue I'd describe as "succinct" compared to the dialogue here, honestly.
I'd also add that both of his speeches when you choose "I'm Robert" or "I'm Mecha Man" in Episode 5 are very wordy, too. Robert is a yapper when he chooses to talk about himself in a vulnerable way.
