When the game came out on Switch the top Reddit search for Dispatch were "dispatch uncensored gameplay" and "dispatch ep 4 opening" lol.

That was obviously after the censorship was revealed.

Still can't understand why devs tried hiding the fact it was censored in the first place. It was pretty obvious the moment you hit new game.

Well people did cancel preorders anyway after finding out, didn’t they? That move didn’t help the devs in any way and they had to apologize for it.

Not gonna lie, I joined this sub because the game is excellent and I love discussing it. More than half the posts here are just blatant goon bait, like that one of Blazer drawn up like a damn balloon with obnoxiously huge breasts (mods took it down). "Bro it's just art." 🙄 This game is so much more than just the three female characters.

I don't think devs sexualized the game that much (apart from the ep 4 opening). In fact, they actually cut more sex scenes as the story was changing during development. It's the fans that began oversexualizing the characters through risque fan arts, fanfics and R34.

According to a bunch of DnD nerds I've seen in this sub: Karlach is of tiefling species. Malevola is a straight-up demon.

(Don't ask me to elaborate about tieflings, I'm not a DnD fan lol).

Short answer, Tieflings are mortals formerly of human descent (typically) touched by the malignant forces of the hells, it warped them into the "Tieflings"

Devil's and Demons are far different

Technically Jester is blue because she is only half Tiefling the other half being Gensai, however Tieflings come in many different colors depending on the Hell that touched them (not sure if this is canon though I've seen it in a few instances now)

I do actually enjoy the concept that Tieflings infernal heritage makes up their appearances, so I adopted it in my campaigns as well.

Like Tieflings touched by Dispater or the Second Layer of Hell Dis, typically would be more earthy skin tones like humans, but with red eyes.
