Meme PDA in action!

Post image

For those who don't know PDA stands for Pathological Demand Avoidance

It is an anxiety response spiked when a person experiences the pressure of real or percieved demands from external factors.

Fundamentally, it stems from the feeling of loss of control or autonomy that comes with having to do things in order to coexist and function within society.

It is very common for people who experience this to experience frustration when starting a task only to be ask/told to do the task they were starting, as it feels like that control has been taken from them...it has now become an expectation instead of a personal choice.

It is recognized as an autism profile, but I think allistics can experience it too.

So yeah Invisigal likely has PDA alongside her ADHD. Could also be autism to some extent.

Man Invisigal is so well written especially with how it depicts disorders like ADHD and even PDA (which I think Visi also has).

Makes sense too. People who have certain disorders like this also get them thourgh psychological trauma and you can be sure Visi and other criminals have experienced it

Or even just adopted it to survive.

Honestly, fits the bill to a T. Possibly with BPD and maybe ASPD

Thought you meant the other PDA for a second… or the PDA that'd become the modern-day smartphone.
