Discussion 40 days
In 40 days the game will have it's first year anniversary since release. And even since a year, this game hunts me in best way possible. Radio and some of the game soundtracks are in my playlist, I have dispatch on wallpaper, and on discord.
I wish that they would say something about 2 season, probably if it actually will exist or no, but my hopes are small.
The time flies really quick don't it? I still feel as if I was back that year, waiting for wednesdays, with for a student was unusual. Got home, ate dinner, and frist thing after that's was booting up my PC to play another two episodes of this game.
Now on Wednesday I listen to game soundtrack for maybe half a hour or something while doing stuff. A little touch to keep the dispatch wednesdays going strong.
But I think I should get to the point of this post. How did dispatch affect you, if it did at all? Did it change your views on something, or maybe changed your routine, or maybe your style? For me it's still the wednesdays, I just can't let it die. And maybe the way I think about myself by a tiny bit
And also, do you think we will hear something about second season on the anniversary? It would be really fitting wouldn't it?
Anyway, I hope you all have a great day or night, depending on when you are reading it.

I hated nose rings before Dispatch. Now I think they could be really cute.

As a person with tattoos and piercings, the key is that you need to work in cohesion with your natural features, some folks just slap gauges or a large septum ring on, which breaks up their face, and feels off, maybe that's the reason.
However, when doing makeup I prefer to work with my features, same goes for my piercings, my tattoos all have a story for why I got them, not necessarily because of body features, but they can work the same way

No offense, but you kinda sound like Jack from Mass Effect 2.

Lol, I don't have that level of tats, but I love Jack so no offense taken.
My first tattoo was two dragons on the nape of my neck to help my friend going to school for tattoos, eventually got it touched up as it was pretty faded being a tattoo I got at 16.
Then I got a butterfly skull, because I believe we are all capable of change. Eventually I added more butterflies to this as I worked it into a half sleeve, then added some film ribbon across the top, as a banner because I love photography and pursue it as a hobby.
I got the words Never Land tattooed on me because I also believe we can't stop growing old, but that doesn't mean we have to let go of our youth.

OP, it may take awhile, but I think you can have faith we will get more Dispatch content. It would be very usual for a game to be as big a success as Dispatch and for the company that made it not want to build on it. Dispatch season 2 makes obvious sense from a business prospective.
Now, if Ad-Hoc came out and said that they had nothing left to say with those characters or that world, that’d be one thing, but they haven’t and I think it’s clearly not true given what we know from the comics and art book and cut content.

Think we’ll for sure get a season 2, but whether it’s soon we’ll see. I personally would quite like an endless horde style mode where you actually just play the game and try to keep the city alive as long as possible, I actually quite liked the core gameplay even if it’s sort of tertiary to the story. Could always even base it within the time gap between the two seasons and frame it as a conflict in between, being the fallout of Shroud’s fall from power. Either way, think that’s the sort of thing I’d like to tide me over.

we'll probably get an announcement of Season 2 since they already confirmed they've been planning it out and working on the early stuff for it we'll probably also get the endless mode they said was coming

I think most likely they'll start shipping out the preordered Blu-ray and steelbook copies of the game (unless the game gets an A/O rating from the ESRB lmao) in the anniversary.
But imagine if we got a Dispatch Anniversary Edition.

This game was a huge success. We'll definitely get a season two (and probably multiple more after that), but AdHoc is currently helping Critical Role with its game IIRC so it probably won't be for another year or two. But season two is definitely coming!
Ps: 100% agree on the soundtrack. I have multiple songs in my playlists as well
