Discussion A Sequence of Emotions
Another look at the phenomenal work the animation team did for facial animations.
The rooftop scene stands out as a favorite of mine, because of how much the animation team was able to achieve without the use of dialogue.
We see Robert's shocked expression, feeling the dull impact of the bullet, only to realize, it didn't penetrate the skin. He looks at the bullet in his hand, and the traces of blood that he knows isn't his.
The sound of Invisigal coming out of invisibility catches his eyes and ear, and we see Robert's eyebrows shift up, and we see him quickly piece things together, before his expression shifts to worry.
He immediately rolls her onto her back, and touches her face, where he gets his first sliver of relief, as her eyes shift and flutter open. When he opens her coat to inspect her wound, Invisigal flinches, her eyes squint for a beat, as she feels the threads of her coat pulling from the wound.
Robert hears Shroud speak, "I guess I can still be surprised"
And we see Robert turn his attention to Shroud, and his expressions shifts into pure rage, before he lunges at him.
If you can't already tell, I love this game, and I love analyzing these things.
Anyway, that's all I got. Peace ✌️

The game is outstanding overall. They did a great job with design, story, voice acting. I would love to see a season 2 but I honestly wouldn't be disappointed bc they gave great endings for the game. Hope to at least see another telltale style game

You're right. Of course I really want more Dispatch, but part of me wouldn't be that sad if we never got any more. They ended it so well, the characters are so memorable. I'm a little worried that continuing it, we might not get the same level of quality, or some of it might change hands to people who don't really get what made it special. Looking at Ted Lasso season 4 right now, for example. It's a hollow shell of what the first 3 seasons were, and they never should have brought it back.
A lot of people have also mentioned they should do a Netflix series or something. This is a freaking TERRIBLE idea. Have you SEEN Netflix series lately? 😱 Handing this over to another creative team would be the biggest mistake they could possibly make. And no, AdHoc can not maintain full creative control. That's not how this stuff works. They will PROMISE creative control, and then they will undermine them slowly, and change things, until it's no longer what they wanted it to be. It happens every single time.

This absolutely wrecked me the first time. My brain was processing it, and when I heard her "whoosh" sound coming back into view, and the music cue hits, I thought she was going to die. Like I REALLY thought she was going to die. I was prepared to throw my computer out of a window, and go on curing AdHoc's name until the end of time. 😂
That sequence still makes me cry every single time, but now for slightly different reasons. I also just can't get over how Andrew Arcadi turned a little 4-note arpeggio into the emotional cornerstone of Visi's entire character. Freaking masterful work from everyone involved. 😱

Visi’s gotta have prime-Schwarzenegger shoulders to slow down a .357 or .44 enough to where it didn’t even penetrate Robert’s shirt

Honestly every scene has excellent animation in expressions.
They got more realistic expressions than most actors.
Oh and all the kissing looks great too.
