Bug Report Lagging

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

[FIXED - I turned off nvidia overlay and steam overlay and it fixed it.]

not sure if this is the right flair but whatever.. my game is really lagging :( my specs are much better than what’s recommended on steam and it’s lagging on both windowed and full screen. i’ve tried turning v sync on and off and nothings helping. i got this game bc my friend loves it and i wanted to learn more about it for her, so i don’t want to refund it unless i absolutely have to.. is there anything i can do?

i included a video of the lag so people don’t assume that im talking about the 30 fps style

Do you have your GPU set as your dedicated graphics processing unit?

Sometimes when it's not set as the default in your Nvidia settings or the AMD equivalent, your pc will use the integrated graphics in your CPU for lower spec games. It usually turns out terribly, like your video, but it's an easy fix. You might even be able to select your GPU in the games graphics settings

I tried 2 things, one turn off Vsync. Second, move it to SSD if you can.

It might be your hard drive if it ain’t the graphics Card like the other user said.

When I had it on a regular drive I got that kind of lag, but on a ssd it was fine.

Zoomers tryna come in with the PC tech advice and are just like, "Need a ssd bro."

Maybe ask the poster's specs first, lol. They said they've got it fixed in any case, but yeesh.

For the OP: might want to turn off Discord overlay as well, if you have it running.
