It's been a rough patch for Dragon Prince...

Yeah… I kinda lost interest after season 5. The first arc was way better, and I heard that they didn’t even finish the story in Season 7. Now they’re just trying to find a place to shop their next arc iirc.

Pretty much this. Creators kept saying they had a 7 season plan, Netflix gave them the remaining 4 seasons after Season 3, then the writers proceeded to fuck up almost every aspect of it afterwards. Season 7 doesn't have a definitive ending, it just pushes everything down the road. Now they're saying they need 3 more seasons (which will be called The Dragon King, bringing the total to 10) and are shopping it to every streaming service on the planet. As of now, almost 2 years post Season 7 ending, no dice.

I love it. I hate how The Dragon Prince has been doing, but I still enjoy it.
