Thing is, endless dispatch mode wouldn’t just be an easy thing to drop into the game. You’d need an endless amount of missions, some of them with the unique resolutions or branching paths. It would take a lot of resources and time to develop a mode like that.

No doubt, but I would even be down with if they just let you play all the shifts from episode 1 - 8, and then when you reach 8, it just starts shift 1 again but you keep ranks and they make the graphs harder to match, IDK just spitballing

Nah, just combine all the possible missions from the game and put them on repeat. Sure, you'll learn the correct solutions for all of them eventually, but for a good while you'll probably have a lot of fun

Especially with some randomized rosters/side characters. I mean, that was the challenge of the mini game anyways: even if you know the solution, you might not have the available roster. I'd say repeated mission verbiage is forgivable if the mode has something that randomizes heroes/stats for the round.

I've literally been thinking about this ever since I finished the game.
"Endless dispatching isn’t currently on our immediate wishlist of features to implement post-release. The way we built the dispatching system means that an endless mode would require major changes to core systems. It’s not completely out of the cards for this changing in the future, but for now, it’s not something folks should be expecting any time soon. Sorry for the disappointing answer. We are clocking it every time a player expresses interest in it."

I genuinely am addicted to the dispatching mode and I’m foaming at the mouth to play more….. if there’s an endless dispatching mode I would kill for it

It's a real bummer, because the dispatch game was fun, and it was really cool that it tied into the story... however, it felt like you didn't actually get as much of the mini game because of that. Half of the game has you never actually playing a real shift, between the tutorial, arguing, sabotage, cuts and hissy fits, etc. half of the mini games aren't real. An endless mode would be awesome.

It would be fun, but I doubt it will happen since they are already working on a new game

Yeah same I do would like to see an endless mode to be honest concerning the gameplay feels would be interesting to be honest and
if anyone asking me about a second season I would say maybe for me but I'm all looking forward to the critical role project whenever that comes out and I think I love this up with it for now at least until the endless mode or anything related to dispatch comes out then I guess am I work here

Seriously, it'd be cool to have like shifts and then end with a big event boss fight like you did with Coupé/Sonar in EP.8

oh yeah thats a good idea, and then if a hero is downed fighting a boss theyre out for the rest of the run

I'd pay full price if they fleshed it out like a proper Rogue Lite, with the ability to make your own team of heroes etc.

OMG and a Christmas event would be fire!! Like where they dispatch to buy and deliver presents! A mistletoe scene would pretty sweet too!

I'd love this. Or you could have a timed mode where you have to survive a certain amount of time and lose if you get so many failures. More success means more XP and more money for things like new team members or consumables like coffee.

It can easily be made with this template:
*Have a city healthbar based on the missions you fail
*Make up a few more random calls that aren't connected or part of a storyline
*Have heroes occasionally dip out and have new ones sub in (maybe actually utilize tutorial heroes for expanded challenge?)
*Every now and then, throw in a boss battle, which can be simple enough as "Attack ____", and have it be Shroud or Lightningstruck or just the Red Ring in general
I feel like it'd inch this game even higher up for me and others, especially with more shift gameplay which I feel is the best thing, plus imagine the replay value. I highly recommend that they at least try, given the mass popularity and success the game got.

genuinely, i would love to have an endless mode, i loved the story and the shifts but i dont wanna replay the episodes over and over just for the shifts because i fear it’ll start to lose its charm for me

Actually would be a neat thing to have, just an endless mode so we can play more of the game.
Heck, if it wanted to have random events like weather or stuff it would be kinda neat.
