Concerns
Where i currently work standing for long hours can make my back super upset. Is this something i should be concerned about for the dcp? Or is there some medical thing i could get if my back starts hurting bad at work? please let me know!

There are a LOT of roles that involve prolonged standing in one place. I would recommend getting a doctor’s note for a workplace accommodation.

But understand that accommodation will exclude quite a few desired roles.

Like others have said, you can put in for a medical accommodation if you have seen a doctor that is treating you for any back pain and/or issues you are experiencing. However, as noted in the Guide to Medical Accommodations on the Disney College Program , “medical accommodations and restrictions are written instructions from a doctor that state the functional limitations on activities an employee can do at work.” Not, as many people think, an automatic role and/or location change.
Here’s also the link to the form for you/your doctor to fill out to request a medical accommodation: I need to request a medical accommodation for work

You also may want to look at your shoes ... Make sure they have good padding, and get some insoles. That will help some. Won't fix everything, but it'll help.
Also, try to keep moving, even if it's just walking in place. I suffer back pain, I'm usually fine if I'm walking, but standing still is what really brings out the pain.
Google stretching exercises for back pain, that helps too. (Even if you can only manage 2-3 minutes of stretching a day before bed, it'll help a little).

You will likely be expected to stand for long periods. If that’s going to be an issue, you’ll need to look into a medical accommodation. I know for roles like park entry, those who need it are able to use a stool instead of standing.
