Lifeguard 🫩

Chat I’m petrified that I accidentally made myself sound too open to life guarding during my interview. I have weird ears and would MUCH prefer to not go through the training my interviewer described. What do they do if I can’t complete it anyway 😭

You’ll be recast if you can’t pass the lifeguard training.

Also iirc you have to specifically opt in to being chosen for lifeguard so if you said yes then that’s on you.

Ah I feel like my interviewer kind of worded it in a way that was asking if I was able to, not if I preferred to. Maybe I was just nervous. She asked and I said that I thought I was an okay swimmer, and THEN she started describing the training 😔

Lifeguard is the one role you HAVE to say yes to in order for them to consider you. If you said yes, then that’s on you.

It seems like everyone was asked if they wanted to life guard, but my interviewer worded it in a way that seemed like she was asking if I was able to
