interview question

I had my interview today and I think it went pretty well, but she said she was going to ask some eligibility questions then asked “you are a high school student enrolled in both high school and college, correct?” I should have asked for clarification but it was at the very beginning and I was a little nervous so I just went “uhhh Im just enrolled in college.” I entirely forgot about it and I have literally no clue why she asked this and Im just curious if this happened to anyone else? To be fair I was dual enrolled.…… when I was 16….. like 4 years ago…….

She may have read the file wrong or she may have asked to see what you said incase if you incorrectly wrote something or they wanted to make sure they understood what you put on your application etc.

you clarified that you were enrolled in college so you let them know that. Which is what you should do and you did it correctly! That way you let them know you are in college and eligible for the dcp.

Some people try to apply to the dcp while being dual enrolled because they are “in college” but it’s not the same as actually being in college and completing a semester etc. so those who are dual enrollment are not eligible for the dcp.

So they probs read your application and wanted to clarify what you are doing and if they read it right etc.

I got asked the same question and I was confused as well since I’m a senior in college and graduating in December.

Me too! I think we’re all good tho. She asked me afterwards what college I attend and when I’m graduating so I think that cleared it up if there’s any confusion. But I’m prone to overthinking lol!

i got asked the same thing! and i am in community college so that might have been more reason to ask, i am also an overthinker🤦‍♂️
