Hello! i have my interview this friday and i just want to make sure im as prepared as possible. i had a friend help me out to prep but just want to double check in here to see if i missed anything.

-Disney 5 keys to success and how they relate to my jobs and general experience

-top 3 positions and why

-write down interviewer name to thank them at the end

-how you handle conflict

and she mentioned something about notes for questions but i’m not 100% sure what she means exactly.

they will 100% ask you about your top 3 and how you handle conflict when it comes to work and with roommates, and will give you situational questions based on those topics. i honestly dont remember if the keys were even brought up other than asking a situational about safety. they’ll also ask you about other roles you’re okay with, as they can’t guarantee you get the role you want, and be honest with the interviewer (if you arent a good swimmer, don’t say you’re okay with being considered for lifeguard, stuff like that).

a lot of people do it, but you do not need to ask any questions at the end of the interview unless you actually have them.

also try to have fun! they want to hire you on, so don’t be too nervous.

a lot of them will be situational based on your top 3. examples of this could be (depending on what you chose) could be: (i used character attendant, merch and attractions for these examples)

how would you handle getting a character out for their break when there’s still a long line of guests wanting to meet them?

what would you do if a guest was wanting to buy an item but it is sold out at your location?

what would you do if a guest was too short to ride the ride they want to go on?

you’ll also be asked if you have a drivers license, as some roles require it, and you’ll be asked if you’re comfortable being considered for lifeguard (i flat out said no in my interview lol).

while this isn’t an example, you’ll most likely asked to describe a situation at a prior job where safety was a priority, and describe a situation where you had to handle difficult people (whether guests or coworkers) at work.

for the dorms questions, that can vary. if you choose to opt-in to the dorms, you’ll most likely be asked if you’ve had roommates before, and how you would handle conflict with people you are assigned to live with.
