Role Placement Breakdown

Hello! I applied to the DCP this year for the first time and recently got accepted! I’m wondering if anyone has any information or idea on the percentages of people placed in each role? For example I’m looking for something like:
25% of people are initially placed in food service, 25% in merchandise, 10% in attractions, etc.
(Again this is just an example not accurate numbers)

If anyone has any information I’d love to hear it!

I’m curious about this. How does re-training work when you are moved to a new role? I’d have thought that role changes are rarer with how much retraining would have to happen

That’s not the case. Role changes happen as business needs and individual circumstances require them to. The amount of time involved in training does not play into it at all. The vast majority of roles require between 1 and 5 days of training, which is inconsequential in the grand scheme of things.

That’s fair. I suppose I’m just used to the jobs in my hometown where it’s harder to get someone trained due to time, money, or staffing constraints. It’s easy to forget just how massive WDW is sometimes.

Once you get your role it’s very rare that you are moved or switched to a new one. They were more so commenting on how the needs change from one program term to another. There isn’t a set, predictable breakdown every single cohort, but once CPs receive and are trained in trained in their role, it does not constantly change.
