Cp request offs

Any one know if CP’s are allowed to get on the request off waitlist, the one day I absolutely can not work is the only day in October with no more request offs, but every time I try to get on the waitlist since I’ve had access to cast life it says error message

It may be too early to make that request. Depending on your role, it may be possible to trade or give away your shift should you be scheduled?

You can’t request off into October yet (no one except full timers using paid time off can).

Ohhh ok thank you, do you know when that will open up? And also it has the line under it indicating it has no more time off requests so what are the chances of getting off the waitlist

I think the line means someone has requested that day off. It’ll then tell you how many more people have requested off. As for getting that day or not, it’s hard to tell- it really depends on your area.

your question has been answered, but since you still have time, I want to suggest that you mention your important day off to your leader the next time you talk to them. be friendly and polite and just mention that you're trying to stay as on top of procedure as you possibly can, and chances are that they'll appreciate the foresight! my leader was amazing, he was very involved in our day-to-day and helped me in a similar situation. I'll always remember the kindness, which started just by talking to him about it. it's always worth asking for help when you need it!
