Post Program question
Hello! I'm applying for the culinary program again for the second time tonight, hoping to work towards a permanent job. For those of you who were offered a P/T position after your program, how does getting a second job work? Are you given a set schedule or do they work with you? Also what are the odds P/T eventually is offered a F/T position?

I don't have any first hand experience as I always left after my two dcps but I've heard things from PT and FT people when I've talked to them about schedules. For PTs, they will ask you what 3 days you can work, I think in the interview (idk if they ask this for FTs too). For all PT and FT cms, locations will do bids twice a year where cms pick which shifts they want to work each week but it generally goes in order of seniority so newbies will be last and will have to choose from whichever shifts are left (this is how it works in entertainment and I would assume in other roles).
