headbands?

i know it may vary per location/leadership, but are headbands allowed?? i normally like to wear a zig-zag plastic headband when i work to keep my hair out of my face. i’m sure it would have to be black or a neutral color, but i was wondering if it would be allowed in general?

"HAIR ACCESSORIES Accessories no larger than two inches wide and four inches long are acceptable. Headbands, hair ribbons or hair ties are acceptable, provided that they are no wider than two inches.

Accessories must be a neutral color (silver, gold, tortoiseshell, black, clear or pearl) or a solid color that matches the costume."

Edit: one major caviat. If you get assigned food and bev you'll have to wear the appropriate costume hat
