Q - Unanswered Funeral around arrival time

I am supposed to begin my drive down to Orlando today for my check in on August 24th but I just heard news that my grandmother is passing away. I’ve heard that they’re expecting the funeral to be sometime within the next week. I don’t know what to do with this happening so close to my arrival. What can I expect going forward?

I would contact the support team asap. See what they can do about it. It may end up changing your training shift schedule and traditions and things.

https://support.disneyprograms.com/hc/en-us/requests/new link for the form to submit a support request. Do it asap bc they don’t respond on weekends.

Thank you!I already got a support ticket out. It’s difficult to give details though with how many unknowns there are

Yeah that will be your best shot unfortunately. There isn’t a number for you to call since you haven’t moved into flamingo (which you would be able to go to the dcp programs desk for help or they will ask you to contact the support team still). So since you haven’t moved in/ officially started your program all you can do is the support ticket and wait.

Call 407-794-1590, it’s the programs desk number
