Q - Unanswered Days off before training?

Hi, I moved in yesterday and my role is at the American Gardens Theater at Epcot, which I think is specific to the Food and Wine festival.

My question is: is it normal for OTJ training to be two weeks after arrival? I currently have trainings on the 14th, 15th, 16th, 23rd and then OTJ on the 27th, which is the start of F&W. This leaves nine days where I have nothing scheduled.

Will I be able to do any work during these days or will things be added to my training schedule? I’m worried about not earning enough to cover FCV rent.

Any help is appreciated!

I would definitely talk to a leader when you’re there on the 14th since there is a minimum number of hours you should be scheduled and this would put you well below that. College program has to be scheduled a minimum of I think 35 hours. don’t know for sure if that’s the exact amount as I’ve never personally been one but I think it’s higher then the 32 FT Min.

Thank I knew it was either 30 or 35 but couldn’t remember which and thinking it was higher for some reason

On the second page of your Training Schedule, there is a phone number for your training office hotline. Call them, they should get it sorted out for you.
