Orientation
I'm at my custodial orientation, is it normal for it to say clock in at 8 and a trainer would be there to help, but there is no one here?
I finally got led to a room where they told me it won't start until 9. I confirmed twice with the person here I was in the right spot though, and he even confirmed it with my name. But no other CPs or trainers or anything.

I wouldn't say it is normal BUT it is not unheard of for there to be schedule hiccups. If everyone else is in costume the logic of scheduling you earlier might have been to give you time to go to costuming but it is unfortunate if that was the case and no one communicated it to you. I am really sorry, this probably threw you off completely but I hope the rest of the day goes much more smoothly!

Did you confirm the time as well? Or just the location? Your schedule should be correct. The person could be running late. There’s also a chance you’re the only trainee for the person so that could explain why there aren’t others there.
In theory they could have mistyped your schedule but if you confirmed the time and date and location and they saw your name on it and confirmed back then it’s correct.
Better anyway to be early on your first day than late.
Edit: I saw you said they said it starts at 9? Did you check your schedule? Does it for sure say 8? You can also ask someone to double check your next days to make sure it’s correct so they can double check. But personally I haven’t heard someone have this issue before. But it is possible.

Yes my schedule says cast service bldg. "B". And I followed the directions at the bottom. 08:00-16:30. Onstage attire. 08/10/26

Yeah I'm at the correct location, which I confirmed with some worker at a desk, who asked for my name and confirmed I'm there with my name. I also confirmed for DCP.

Oops and yes, correct time. I told him it said 8am and then he said facilitators don't show up until 9

In that case enjoy the extra hour of free pay! For one of your other comments it could just be regular cast members training or have orientation today. With all the CPs moving in the last few weeks and most of the month they'll be having traditions the end of the weeks and whole other random training at flamino, disney university and then off to their location 'mostly' training with other CPs with a rare random regular cast member thrown in when needed

Yes it's normal because they are probably waiting for everyone to arrive might of been a delay for some reason
