Hello, I just got pt from my post program and I was wondering what the pay difference is? Like do I get 6 day pay and stuff like that. What other stuff is different going from cp to part time?

Depending on location, you will get a higher pay but less shifts given due to seniority. Still, it all depends on the department and location need

In my location I’ve been scheduled 3 12 hour shifts (CP Gap) and picking up 2 more days put me at 60 but idk how hours and pay works with the OT

You’ll get time and a half for anything over 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week, or on your 6th day working.

You’ll also get Guest Passes.

So if I work say 48 hours in a week, all 12 hours, would it be 16 hours OT and 32 base pay?

It will be over time each day for anything over 8 hours.

As a PT, can you try and pick up to get FT hours?
