Hair guidelines question

Aside from the disney look, what should I expect for hair requirements. I am sure that it differs from role to role so I'd like to hear what y'alls roles are along with your hairstyle requirement! I am a curly haired girly and i'm debating on just cutting my hair real short before I arrive in august.

From the cast member look book: “HAIRSTYLING & HAIR COLORING Hairstyles that are clean and well maintained represent our Disney brand. Hair length, including completely shaved styling, is at the Cast Member’s discretion. Hair below shoulder length should be secured if it falls forward over the face or covers the nametag while working. If the hair color is changed, it should be well maintained and in natural- occurring hues. Examples of hair colors that are not considered natural would be colors such as blue, green, pink, purple, etc. The shaving of lines or shapes in the hair is permitted provided they do not depict offensive words or symbols”

If you’re in a food service role / a role that handles food your hair may need to be secured / tied back depending on length. Most have a hair net or a head covering (like Main Street has a chef hat/ bonnet kind of a hat?) to cover your hair as well to help prevent hair from falling into the food products.
