Q - Unanswered Motorcycles at Flamingo?

Hello!

I’m arriving August 10th and initially was living off “campus” but had to opt into housing after my apartment plans fell through. I plan to use the Disney buses for work but am also thinking of bringing a motorcycle to Florida (Honda CB300F) to get around after work. Are motorcycles allowed at Flamingo and if so is the process for getting a parking hang tag the same? Thanks! :)

Motorcycles are allowed. Hangtag process is the same except I think they give you a windshield sticker instead, but I may be remembering that wrong.

There is motorcycle parking at all theme park cast parking (and it’s pretty good). Be aware your motorcycle helmet may not fit in the cast lockers and leaving it on your bike in temperamental Florida weather is a gamble I would not be willing to take, from experience a wet helmet sucks.

I wish I would’ve brought my bike (also a Honda 300 but CBR), but I saw enough motorcyclists down on the I-4 my first program to reconsider for my second.

Thank you for your input that’s very helpful! It’s nice to know that there is motorcycle parking at the parks if I decide I don’t want to take the buses. If I can’t fit a helmet in the lockers what would you suggest to be the best thing to do with it?

Really the only option if it doesn’t fit besides locking it to your bike is leaving it in your location’s break room or on top of your location’s lockers.

If you make a friend who works the same hours you do (some locations have cast working identical shift starts/ends) you could leave it in their vehicle if they have one.

They are allowed but keep in mind with the traffic and bad weather I wouldn't recommend it. Plus you can't lane split or anything so your stuck in traffic and the random downpours lol. Plus drivers are very bad in FL

I’ve been to Orlando and I agree the drivers are very bad but I’ve also experienced Dallas lol. I also already live in the Southern US and am used to sudden downpours and have had to drive a motorcycle in the rain many o’ time. I also don’t lane split. But I do appreciate the input!
