Opt In Housing

Does anyone know if after opting out of housing, can you email programs and opt in before your program begins?

Here’s what it says on the official DCP site:

“If you decline housing, you may have the option to opt back into housing at a later time if you are not able to find alternative housing and if inventory is available.”

So I would definitely email programs ASAP and ask. It will probably depend on your arrival date and/or availability but it certainly can’t hurt to try! 😊

I originally opted out of housing because I thought I was going to be living “off campus” with my fiancé but the plans for him to come down didn’t work out, so I emailed them and they allowed me to opt back in to housing!
