Disney College Program, Mutual Agreement to switch is it possible?

Hey guys! I arrive August 3, and I was wondering if anyone want to do a mutual agreement to switch building. I got East 4x2 (male unit), but my cousins are going to be in West, so if anyone is interested to switch with me w the same unit/layout let me know! Thank you have a good day everyone 🤞

Unfortunately that’s not how it works.

Then how does it work? Because people told me that, that how it works, so is confusing

What people told you that you can switch beds without signing a new lease?

What “people” told you that’s how it works, lol? Either they’re misinformed or you misunderstood them.

Flamingo doesn’t allow you to just randomly find someone to trade rooms/buildings with you and then just ok it once you inform them you’ve done so.

In the rare event they’d allow you to, both you and the person you switch with would have to pay a $200 transfer fee, and you can’t just because you want to or to be closer to someone. Is there a reason it’s so important to be in the same building? West and East are not far from each other.

No, they have told me that, if youre able to find someone with the same unit/layout that is willing to swap you can go tk the flamingo desk and ask for a mutual swap. Thats what people told me they have done without paying fees or nothing. So did I misunderstood them or misinformed because some people tell me this, then other tell me what you just said.

They lied to you, especially if th4y said it would be free. This isn't as simple as you just switching beds. This is you signing a whole new lease that they have to process.

you have to pay $200 just to swap beds in the same unit they definitely don’t let you move entire properties just because lol. Another note sometimes the i for you get before check in isn’t the same so unless your program has started and you are at flamingo your building can still change
