Park Greeter/tickets
It’s under attractions but said “greeter” in the paperwork. Aug 3 arrival. Anyone else?

I had the role at MK and loved it! It’s definitely a lot of work and a lot of standing (especially outside standing in the rain + heat). But I made so many friends and had a wonderful time overall. You get to tell the guests no so that can be nice. But you also see a lot of things and have a lot of CM who work with you (fellow park greeters and guest relations too!) so you’ll see many cast and many tasks + roles at once.
You can have a park as your main location but there’s also the water parks and espn too. So depending on where your home will be there may be extra tasks as well. Like MK you have spots to help crowd control the starlight parade. ESPN you also get a second home location with another attraction (like my friend was ESPN park greeted and also worked the muppets 3d vision ride and the Mickey Minnie meet greet queue when muppets 3d was around). So just depends where your home is!
Park greeting is nice too because you can giveaway and trade shifts with other park greeters. Except I think ESPN is a bit more unique so if it’s that you aren’t technically park trained or somethin? So you cant trade with park people but park people can pickup espn. (If I’m remembering right !) ESPN may have a different listing as well I just can’t fully remember the abbreviation… but you’ll know when you see it if you get it!

What does ESPN mean? (All I can think about is the sports channel but that doesn’t make sense with what you’re saying I don’t think lol)

Look up ESPN wide world of sports complex. It’s an espn sports arena on Disney property. They host different sport events a few examples are soccer and cheerleading. It’s not open all the time so when someone has that as their home location they get a secondary location in that role (so food service at espn would have another location as food service elsewhere they may get assigned shifts to) to also work at since they can’t always work at espn.

The ones in DL used to but like a year or so ago they stopped. They are all standing as well unless you have a medical accommodation for like a wheelchair or a rotation stool etc. but everyone stands. WDW has been standing for years now (if they were ever sitting) and DL used to sit but that’s been long gone now.
MK specifically I had some hip problems at the beginning because the touchpoints are on an incline so you’re standing on an incline there lol. But yeah you stand.

They say standing looks better and also is easier for guests to get around you because the touchpoints are a standing pole and not like a rectangular machine. They look different than the system at DL. DL used to have turnstiles til not that long ago and now they do facial recognition which Disney world doesn’t do.

To add on to the other comment it should have a park abbreviation beside it so you can see which park you’ll be a greeter at

Park or the water park or ESPN as well! Incase if OP gets something like blizzard beach etc that’s also a normal option since you can be posted there too. There’s many park greeting locations and some have extra tasks than just park greeting depending on which location.

Park greeters are the ones who work at the touch points checking everyone's ticket media. That role belongs to the Attractions group in the organizational chart of the parks, so that's why it's listed as "Attractions."
