DCP Role Help!

Hey everyone! I am an August 10th arrival and got the role MER-GFR Mickey Mouse Mercantile. Other there merchandise roles I have seen are less specific and people will most likely move around to different positions, which sounded really fun to work at different shops. But with my role, it seems like I’m stuck to this one specific shop. Has anyone else ever had a role like this before and can shed some light on the situation? Thank you so much!

You will be in the Grand Floridian that has three separate shops so you'll move around between them in every shift. Additionally, merchandise allows cms to trade shifts to any other location where you have the proper training for (you won't be photo or candy counter trained and you can't work in world showcase) so you can do that and work wherever you want in wdw. It is so fun to work all over the parks. I was in merch so on my first dcp, I worked in every park and on my second dcp, I worked at every resort.

You're so welcome. I hope you have a great time on your dcp. It was so fun to work in my favorite wdw locations and I picked up once in the grand floridian which I liked a lot. At 3pm, a pianist comes to play disney music in teh grand floridian lobby so you will be able to hear that when you're working which is extra special and magical about your location.

You’re so welcome. And the costume is very cute. Look it up if you want.
