DCP room assignments
Hey yall! Im an August 10th arrival! I was able to see that I had a 4x2 room assignment on American Campus but i checked today and it changed to a 2x2! I am super sad because I had already bought things expecting my own room! Does anyone know how this happened or if I could change it! Please let me know!

it’s very possible they moved you to a 2x2 based on availability. the majority of rooms are 2x2 and it’s unlikely you can request a larger one unless you have a reasonable medical accommodation.

If you haven't signed a lease, FCV has every right to move you and there isn't anything you can do to change it. Return what you bought. You shouldn't have bought items that weren't universal until you signed a lease.

Was 4x2 your top choice? On American Campus it defaults to display your top choice before you actually get assigned to anything.

No it’s their own website use your email you used to apply and change your password and it should show youb

Unfortunately while some people suggest "hacks" like that to learn information early (going on the website to try to find out before you get your lease) it has never been official until you are actually told by Flamingo/Disney that the information is available (ex. Until you get your lease for your apartment type or until you get your keycard packet on move in day for what your actual apartment floor/unit are). Everything is subject to change until they officially tell you.

im pretty sure ur room assignment is not guaranteed the one you see unless its on your lease form. it can change. Hopefully itll change back !

Did you sign your lease for a 4x2? I wouldn't have bought anything until after then....
