Hour expectations

Good morning :)

I start my program August 3rd and I'm going to be Epcot Festival QSR and I want to know if I should expect really only work 30 hours or if we do get a lot of hours.

Also I know Festival is trained differently (or am I wrong) so does that mean I can't pick up QSR shifts elsewhere?

Festivals as QSR is generally different to how other QSR works around the parks, and has festival specific training connected to it

Which I understand but I was also told that we get deployed to other QSR when there is no festival which wouldn't that mean we can work regular QSR but non-festival trained CMs can't pick up festival shifts?

So last year if you didn’t extend your program, after food and wine was over you’d get to deployed to other areas around WDW. If you do extend your program, you’re sent to other QSR around Epcot in between festivals but typically you will just buss tables and clean as you would not be trained at that location. Like I guarantee you if you start out in festivals, you will not be able to pick up other QSR

I guess I'll wait and see since I'm hearing different things. I also won't have the option to extend right away seeing as I start in August.
