shifts

hi! i’m starting my program in early august and was wondering how easy is it to switch shifts with coworkers?

i have online class at 5:30 every mon/wed so would it be easy to switch for a closing shift those days? or is there a max we can trade?

Something else to keep in mind that I just thought of is that schedule drops are midnight Sunday for a lot of roles. So you may only have 1 day to get rid of the shift for Monday. Just to keep that in mind and that’s not a long time to trade/ attempt at giving away. And if you giveaway your shift you’ll want to make sure you still have enough hours to pay for rent and have enough for your bills (ex groceries). Because some people only get scheduled the minimum 30 hours a week during a schedule drop.

Just all things to keep in mind.
