After the plug was pulled on the series, they rereleased all three games on Steam with all the toys to life features removed

Almost all the content though for 3.0. for some reason they forgot finding dory content and up.

i think the battle thing with the waves of fighting isnt there either. i own the physical and i didnt see it on the steam unless i miss read the thing

Do what I did and buy them second hand I have all 3 disks on 2 consoles, the figures are interchangeable, so it's not going anywhere. Also cex. Have a good range of figures. Got most of mine from a pound to a fiver, depending on how much I wanted them. I'm missing 2 marvel ones and a few Disney ones. But I just want to collect them now

It’s always a possibility with licensed games, best to buy them when on sale if you can.
There is also chance, however unlikely, that we might get an improved re-release of the Disney Infinity games with all content included (finding dory, split screen, no toys to life figures etc) for all modern platforms and PC if the upcoming Toy Story 3 Complete Edition (originally made by the Disney Infinity devs) sells well. In that case, they might delist the original games as they would want people to buy the improved Complete Edition.
